Security is designed into every layer of the Praethos platform -- from data encryption to access control to compliance monitoring. Your data is protected by the same rigor we apply to building industry intelligence.
Security Framework
How Praethos approaches security for industries that handle sensitive data and operate under regulatory oversight. The items below describe design intent and roadmap, not certifications already held.

The platform is designed to encrypt data at rest and in transit using modern, industry-standard ciphers, so data is protected from the moment it enters Praethos.
Granular RBAC with customizable roles, permissions, and organizational hierarchies, so you can control exactly who sees what, down to the field level.
Designed to support MFA across your organization, including TOTP authenticator apps, hardware security keys (FIDO2/WebAuthn), and backup codes.
The platform is designed to log actions, access events, and configuration changes with full context -- who, what, when, and where -- for accountability and review.
Security review and vulnerability scanning are part of the engineering process. Formal third-party assessments and certifications are on the roadmap, not yet claimed as completed.
Regional data residency is a design goal so the platform can adapt to jurisdictional requirements and organizational data governance policies over time.
Praethos is being built with healthcare- and finance-adjacent regulatory requirements in mind. Specific compliance attestations will be pursued and stated only once formally achieved.
