Our Origin
Praethos was born from a simple observation: the industries that build, power, and maintain the physical world are running on software that was never designed for them. Generic ERPs and horizontal SaaS tools force contractors, operators, and professionals to adapt their workflows to rigid, one-size-fits-all systems -- losing efficiency, accuracy, and intelligence at every step.
Our founder, Marcus Hale, spent 15 years in enterprise software watching this pattern repeat across industry after industry. Trade businesses cobbling together spreadsheets, generic CRMs, and paper-based processes because no software company bothered to understand their actual operations. The problem was not technology -- it was attention. These industries deserved the same caliber of purpose-built, intelligent software that Silicon Valley builds for itself.
So we set out to fix it.
